at 7:00 PM EST!
This month we will be having community updates from the LGBT Center of Raleigh and the Alliance of AIDS Services-Carolina. Join us to hear how each organization has survived Covid 19 and the unique challenges they have overcome. What they are currently offering and what they need from the community. What the future holds, where they will be going and more.
Melissa Haithcox-Dennis is the Executive Director at Alliance of AIDS Services-Carolina. She has over 20 years of experience working to better the lives of others. Alliance of AIDS Services-Carolina is a local non-profit and the largest HIV/AIDS service agency in the State. A community driven agency that provides education, prevention, and care to those infected and affected by HIV. For over 25 years, we have been empowering individuals to become self-sufficient and supportive members of the community.
Lindsey Lughes has served as Executive Director of the LGBT Center of Raleigh since June 2019. She has worked for LGBTQ rights for over a decade. She's passionate about supporting and affirming queer folks living in the south. The center's mission is to serve, empower, and advocate for the well-being of our diverse LGBTQ+ communities.
