About Kayla: A graduate of Harvard University, Kayla holds a BA in Visual and Environmental Studies. An award-winning illustrator, Kayla is the creative director of Design Altar and works as the editor-in-chief and art director of Nat. Brut. She has been profiled by NPR, Latina Magazine, The Huffington Post, Design*Sponge, and The Establishment, among others. Kayla served on the jury for American Illustration 36 and is on the board of ICON 11. Originally from Texas, Kayla lives with her fiancée, writer Laura Bullard, in North Carolina.
